artist bio

Sarah Jenkins is a visual artist from Edmonds, Washington and creates mosaics and stained glass artworks from her home studio in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned a B.A. in Community Art from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois in 2017 and M.A. in Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois in 2021.

Through her educational experiences, she has collaborated with other artists in several community-based public installations, including The Luminous One, a 7.5×15' Byzantine-style mosaic for Wheaton College’s Barrows Auditorium. She is an active volunteer of Four Chapter Gallery in downtown Kansas City and a leader of Creative Community, a group of multidisciplinary Christian artists that meet regularly to encourage creativity and discuss purposeful engagement between art and religion within our current culture.
